• Understand and become highly proficient in IP Based fixed access networks, Layer2 and Layer 3 protocols
• Perform architecture and design analysis for customer requirement
• Understand real-world Customer deployments and incorporate feedback into developed features.
• Work closely within and across team/DU and Product Management to jointly deliver high quality products and solutions

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 12 to 15yrs years of relevant experience in SW development.
• Proficient in C, C++ with Datacomm/ Networking, Java with networking, NMS/EMS (for SW)
• Proficient in clean coding, debugging and problem solving
• Familiar with OO design is preferred
• Familiar with multi-core, multi-process, multi-thread programming
• Familiar with network protocol, L2/L3 packet forwarding is preferred
• Contribute to product architecture by quickly prototyping and validating design approaches to align with evolving product requirements.
• Design and develop solutions using advanced technologies such as Java/J2EE, Microservices, Kubernetes, and SDN.
• Collaborate closely with various teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and refine the development process.
• Contribute to test design, test bed setup, execution, and reporting, ensuring product quality through various software testing methodologies.
• Gain hands-on experience working in a cloud-based, CI/CD, and DevOps environment, optimizing the development lifecycle.
• Leverage experience with broadband solutions (DSL/PON) and networking protocols like SNMP and Netconf to build efficient and scalable systems.
