The Customer Project Manager leads the end‑to‑end delivery of services projects, ensuring they are executed within scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations. This role drives project success from initial planning through execution and handover to operations. By applying Nokia’s Project Management methodology, the Customer Project Manager ensures proactive risk management, strong stakeholder communication, and consistent project performance. A key focus of the role is maintaining high customer satisfaction while identifying opportunities for upselling, change requests, and incremental business growth.

The Customer Project Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of services projects, ensuring execution within agreed scope, budget, timeline, and quality. The role oversees project planning, delivery, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and performance tracking while applying the Nokia Project Management methodology. A strong focus is placed on customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and identifying opportunities for upselling and change requests.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5–8 years of recent experience managing large telecom projects/programs (4G/5G, core network, cloud, systems integration).
- Strong ownership mindset with ability to work independently and navigate complex processes.
- Experience working with external customers, partners, and remote, cross‑cultural teams.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact effectively with senior management.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management and project forecasting.
- Ability to anticipate risks, make informed decisions, prioritize work, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Fluent English and EU citizenship; ability to travel in Europe (approx. 20%); based in the designated service area.
Nice to Have
- PMP or other project management certifications (highly preferred).
- Norwegian language skills.
- Lead day‑to‑day project execution, ensuring alignment with scope, cost, schedule, and quality targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships to ensure clear communication and expectation management.
- Monitor project KPIs, financial performance, forecasts, and progress to ensure delivery against baselines.
- Proactively identify risks, opportunities, upsell potential, and manage change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate internal and external project teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation and operational excellence.
- Apply Nokia’s PM methodology, processes, tools, and practices consistently across all project phases.
