The BBN system architecture team defines e2e architecture solutions from hardware , iwf, software for OLTs and the controllers for next gen products, product evolutions and customer requirements working along with the VAT team from different DUs. The team also works on aligning the architecture with the BBN vision and propose solutions for energy saving, cost optimizations, quantum safe products and autonomous networks

As a part of the BBN System Architecture team you will be responsible for the definition of the E2E architecture solution for next generation fiber products, Optical LAN and data centre product requirements reinline with SDAN solutions involving Lightspan OLT and the access controller Altiplano. Responsibility also includes driving architecture and design principles, ensuring robust and resilient architecture, coming up with performant and cost effective architectural solutions for products in collaboration with the different delivery units.

• Experience in access technologies : pon/gpon/xgspon, layer2 , layer 3 protocols and services
• Experience in defining architecture solutions for products and software
• Experience in hardware abstraction, asics and hardware

• Ownership of complex software architecture
• Defining and reviewing architecture proposals from different DUs
