The OSS Management Specialist assures the maintenance of OSS SQM and upgrades of the OSS SQM SW HW within the agreed SLA s. He/She is responsible for the OSS SQM maintenance, upgrade, error collection, and preventive maintenance. He/She is responsible for data administration, CMDB, and identity management functions

You Have:

  • Any Bachelogy degree with 4 to 6 years of hands-on working experience in OSS(Multi vendor), preferably Netact/ / /ENM/Huawei application O&M , along with experience in Telecom & strong in telecom concepts.
  • System Administration knowledge of Linux/VMware environment.
  • Good knowledge of OSS application and its flow towards NE,NBI & SBI.
  • Good communication skills for communicating with the required stakeholders and customers
  • Knowledge of network operations & ITSM/ticket system process flow
  • Proven ability to work with others to meet common objectives and team leader expectations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to gain consensus.
  • Takes initiative to creatively resolve issues and find solutions.

  • Results/outcome-oriented
  • Experience in Unix, Shell scripting, and SQL hands-on experience
  • Kubernetes and Cloud experience as additional experience

  • Administration of OSS applications, preferably Netact/ NMS, and other third party NMS proactive scheduling (automation) of daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure the performance and quality of the technical platform, servers, applications etc.
  • Control data flow from the network to the OSS System and plan the corrections and extensions to the OSS accordingly.
  • Co-operate with other Network Operation Centre personnel in trouble and emergency situations.
  • Configuration and administration of third party software/applications in OSS Node/ servers
  • Manage and administration of OSS Virtual Machines
  • Coordination with Radio,Core and other engineers for integration of respective products/nodes with OSS
  • Administration of OSS backup solutions including Linux,GUIS and storage solutions etc
  • Troubleshooting and fault rectification in the OSS system within SLA time frame.
