The Performance & Optimisation Specialist coordinates the optimization team and acts as the single point of contact for customers, ensuring seamless execution of managed services projects. This role involves analyzing network performance, optimizing traffic, capacity, and neighbors, and providing technical solutions to improve KPIs and user experience. Additionally, the lead develops multi-layer optimization strategies, implements special/mass event plans, validates and enhances NPO tools, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure SLA compliance and regulatory requirements. The role also includes participation in strategic initiatives, PoCs, and capability development, keeping the network aligned with the latest technologies and best practices.

We are seeking an experienced 5G/4G Radio Optimization Lead to drive network performance improvements and act as the single point of contact for customer engagements. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills to deliver end-to-end network optimization and managed services excellence.
- 10+ advanced expertise in 5G/4G radio optimization on the latest Nokia SW/HW releases, with strong knowledge of Nokia SRAN BTS & NetAct; optional multi-OEM experience (Samsung/Huawei).
- Deep understanding of at least two RATs (5G & 4G), advanced knowledge of parameters/features/tuning, KPI analysis, troubleshooting, Layer 3 and PCAP/Wireshark trace analysis, plus end-to-end correlation across Radio/Access/IP/Transport/Core.
- Experience delivering managed services projects, solid understanding of MS processes, and strong leadership/team-management capabilities.
- Excellent customer communication skills for governance calls and technical discussions, backed by strong reporting and visualization skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Pivot, Power BI).
- Expertise in analyzing third-party drive tests & crowdsourced data, performing performance optimization, spectrum refarming, 2G/3G sunset strategies, and post-optimization activities.
- Broad knowledge of RAN evolution & architectures: Radio Network Consolidation, ORAN, Cloud RAN, vRAN, Private 5G/Enterprise Networks, Small Cells, DAS, FWA, Massive MIMO, Network Slicing, MEC, IoT connectivity.
- Lead the team as SPOC, managing project deliverables, timelines, milestones, and ensuring seamless execution.
- Act as SME for customer interactions, delivering technical insights, presentations, and use cases to enhance network performance.
- Perform traffic, capacity, neighbor, and carrier aggregation optimization to improve KPIs, end-user experience, and multi-layer inter-technology performance.
- Continuously refine network strategy, recommend new feature rollouts, and implement special/mass event optimization plans.
- Conduct benchmarking and performance analysis using Umlaut (P3), regulatory drive tests, and other validation tools.
- Identify automation opportunities and optimize NPO tools (in-house and third-party) for efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CM, PM, FM, OMS) to resolve action items, define SLAs/KPIs, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participate in stream-level engagements, PoCs, new initiatives, and capability development, while keeping up with emerging technologies.
- Ensure continuous improvement through regular audits, reviews, and performance monitoring to meet managed services targets.
