The Senior Solutions Architect provides specialised expertise to support the sales team ahead of the actual sales to drive sales of an optimum solution mix to customers. Works with customers and development teams to create the best fit offering. Contributes to / defines the technical strategy towards the designated customer(s), optimally adapts towards their vision, requirements, and needs in close collaboration with the respective customer teams and market solution team / head. Makes technical presentations to customers focusing on Nokia's value proposition to customer during prospect and negotiation phases, supports technical activities such as proposal building/testing and demo hands-on support/RFx response/high level design/etc.
You have:
- Deep understanding of IP routing protocols/technologies (IP/MPLS/Segment Routing)
- Hands-on experience with testing/demos/PoCs of IP networking technologies
- In-depth knowledge of the Japan IP market
- Presales experience in Mission Critical Enterprise markets (Utility, Transportation, Public Sector, Defense, Finance)
- Excellent proposal and presentation skills
- Native Japanese and proficient business English communication skills
- Strong teamwork orientation and proactive approach to problem-solving
- 5-8 years of relevant experience or a graduate/postgraduate degree in a related field
It would be nice if you also had:
- Deep understanding of Datacenter networking/virtualization/container technologies
- Experience in technical enablement and management of partners/resellers
- Skills in creating customer network evolution plans
- Ability to articulate complex technical solutions and their value effectively
- Collaborate with the Sales team to evaluate and develop regional business opportunities, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
- Act as a subject matter expert by presenting tailored technical solutions that highlight Nokia's value proposition to customers during sales negotiations.
- Contribute to and lead the development of customer network evolution plans, optimizing the positioning of Nokia’s technology and solutions.
- Identify and address complex technical challenges, proposing effective mitigation strategies to enhance project outcomes.
- Support the RFx proposal process by providing expert technical insights, including crafting solution descriptions and compliance documents.
- Engage in hands-on demonstrations, proof of concepts, and evaluations to showcase our IP networking technologies to potential customers.
- Utilize deep market knowledge to inform strategies and recommendations, driving continuous improvement in products and services.
- Lead cross-functional teams during offer development phases, fostering collaboration and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality proposals.
