The Nokia Regional Unit (RU) Taiwan Leader, is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for driving business performance, customer impact, and operational excellence across this country. Reporting directly to the Region Leader, the role carries accountability for sales execution, customer outcomes, and financial performance within the unit, while reinforcing a consistent Team Nokia approach across the region.

The Regional Unit Leader acts as the primary integrator between regional strategy and country level execution, ensuring disciplined go to market delivery, strong customer engagement, and profitable growth across the Nokia portfolio.

The Regional Unit Leader holds overall responsibility for orders, revenue, margin, cash, customer satisfaction, and operational performance across the assigned Regional Unit, covering both Telecommunication Providers and Mission Critical Enterprise customers across the Nokia MI and NI portfolio.

The Regional Unit Leader Taiwan holds overall responsibility for orders, revenue, margin, cash, customer satisfaction, and operational performance across this country, covering both Telecommunication Providers and Mission Critical Enterprise customers across the Nokia MI and NI portfolio.
  • 12 plus years of senior commercial or sales leadership experience in telecommunications or technology sectors.

  • Proven track record leading country or multi country commercial teams with financial accountability.

  • Experienced with a network of contacts within Taiwan with the relevant local operators key customers (CSPs, Enterprise)

  • Great experience driving pipeline discipline, deal execution, and forecast accuracy.

  • Solid understanding of mobile networks, cloud and network services, network infrastructure, and enterprise solutions.

  • Experience managing complex customer relationships, demanding customer requirements and strategic commercial negotiations.

  • Excellent financial acumen including revenue, margin, pipeline, and commercial risk management.

  • Bachelor degree required. MBA or equivalent executive education preferred.

  • Ability to openly collaborate and build trust within own unit and across global organizations



Strategic Leadership and Execution

  • Translate the regional strategy defined by the Region Leader into clear execution priorities across countries, accounts, and customer segments within the Regional Unit.

  • Drive profitable growth and market share expansion across all portfolios by aligning customer needs, technology roadmaps, and commercial execution.

  • Actively shape account and market strategies in partnership with Client Executives, ensuring focus on strategic customers, priority deals, and multi portfolio opportunities.

  • Provide market insight and execution feedback to the Region Leader to continuously refine regional strategy and priorities.

  • Strengthen Nokia position amongst the current and target customers of the Region Unit based on a thorough understanding and proactive exploration of customers’ needs and market dynamics

  • Secure breakthrough into new segments and/or new customers by ensuring alignment with the Region target

Commercial and Operational Accountability

  • Lead Country Leaders and Client Executives to ensure strong account ownership, disciplined pipeline management, and consistent commercial governance.

  • Oversee all sales and field operations activities within the Regional Unit, ensuring alignment across Business Groups and central functions. ( including safety, market share, orders, sales, sales margin, contract execution, OPEX)

  • Drive execution of complex deals and strategic negotiations, supporting Client Executives and country teams to maximize value and customer impact.

  • Ensure accurate forecasting, strong financial discipline, and proactive risk management across the unit.

  • Champion operational rigor, performance management, and execution cadence across all countries and teams.

Customer and Market Impact

  • Serve as a senior Nokia representative for key customers within the Regional Unit, engaging regularly with C level stakeholders and senior customer leadership.

  • Ensure a consistent, high quality customer experience across all accounts, countries, and engagement models.

  • Support development of strategic partnerships, innovation initiatives, and lighthouse customer programs in alignment with regional priorities.

  • Act as an escalation point for critical customer situations, ensuring rapid resolution and strong executive engagement.

Leadership and Culture

  • Build, lead, and develop a high performing commercial leadership team across the Regional Unit.

  • Foster excellent performance culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
