The Design Planning Specialist designs, analyzes, and plans network components, evaluating performance and capacity needs. They conduct architecture studies, develop routing scenarios, and manage end-to-end physical network deployment.

Must-Have Responsibilities:

  • Network Engineering & Planning: Consults and develops complex network configurations, capacity planning, and interface analysis, providing overall engineering support.
  • Network Design & Optimization: Develops network-wide designs, covering performance, spectrum, and capacity recommendations across regions.
  • Technical Interworking & Analysis: Defines interworking between layers and technologies, and performs root cause analysis.
  • Solution Architecture & Customer Collaboration: Collaborates with teams and consults with customers on end-to-end solution definition and architecture.

Nice-to-Have Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 16+ years of experience in mobile network planning and design (RAN).
  • Process & Documentation: Defines processes and standards, and generates technical documentation for network element implementation.
  • Architectural Promotion: Defines and promotes proposed architectures and complex use cases.
  • Automation & Pre-sales Support: Leads tools automation and supports the pre-sales team during RFI/RFQ phases.

  • Consults and develops complex network configurations, capacity planning, and interface analysis, providing overall engineering support.
  • Develops network-wide designs, covering performance, spectrum, and capacity recommendations across regions.
  • Defines interworking between layers and technologies, and performs root cause analysis.
  • Provides advanced product dimensioning solutions.
  • Defines processes and standards, and generates technical documentation for network element implementation.
  • Collaborates with teams and consults with customers on end-to-end solution definition and architecture.
  • Defines and promotes proposed architectures and complex use cases.
  • Leads tools automation and supports the pre-sales team during RFI/RFQ phases.
