The IP Migration Operations Specialist at Nokia plays a crucial role in managing and operating telecommunications services for our customers. Must-Have:

  • Solid experience in IT and telecommunications services management
  • Proficiency in IP technologies and network management
  • Strong analytical skills for complex problem-solving
  • Experience in Fault Management, Configuration Management, or Performance Management
  • Certification on CISCO CCNP/CCIE; or Fortinet VCP/VCAP or Nokia NSR II/NSR Architect
  • German language skills (minimum B2).

Nice-To-Have:

  • Experience with managed services delivery in a large-scale environment
  • Knowledge of security management practices
  • Project management experience with proven leadership skills
  • Familiarity with OSS and related systems
  • Advanced certification in relevant technical disciplines
  • CISCO 4xxx family, CISCO 9xxx family


  • Manage key functions of Managed Services delivery, including Fault, Configuration, Performance, Security, and OSS Management.
  • Contribute to global best practices and guidelines, while working with discretion to solve complex operational problems.
  • Drive process and practice improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, risk management, and quality.
  • Act as a mentor and advisor to colleagues, fostering professional development within the team.
  • Approve and oversee high-risk Methods of Procedures (MoPs) and change management procedures.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to address high-impact incidents and operational risks.
  • Stay updated and serve as an expert in IP technologies and network protocols like IP/MPLS.
