We are seeking a highly motivated intern/co-op student to join our Optical Systems Group. In this role you will be helping to build test setups used for optical performance testing of our next generation products and automating and analyzing the resulting data. You will work with other team members to understand the test requirements, define the test setups, build and run test sequences on products in the development stage.
- Proficient in one or more of the following, Python, Matlab, VB .NET.
- Knowledge of communication systems and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of working with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to summarize complex data and present to a cross functional audience.
- Curiosity and interest in communication systems.
- Help define and build test setups for optical performance testing of next generation products.
- Automate test sequences to enable running tests over conditions.
- Summarize and perform initial analysis on test data.
- Present data and key findings to a cross functional team.
