We are seeking trainees to work in Project Management / Sales / Marketing teams in Finland (Espoo, Tampere and Oulu).
  • You have an active student status in university, polytechnic or an equivalent institution with a solid understanding of your major subject e.g. HW/SW development, Telecommunications, Electronics, Data Science or Industrial Engineering & Management.
  • You are fluent in English (written & spoken).
  • You have a basic understanding of IT and Communication services (ICT) market, especially for enterprises.
  • You excel with Office tools (e.g. Excel, VBA, PowerPoint).
  • You’re good at analytical thinking, and have good mathematical skills.

You also have at least some of the following skills:

  • General understanding of telecommunication, computing, cloud, radio & RF technology
  • Business intelligence tools (e.g. MS Power BI, Azure, Azure powerApps).
  • HTML, CSS, REST API
  • DAX, PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, Python
  • Data science, business analytics basics
  • Database design, SQL
  • System integration
  • Machine learning algorithms
  • Focal point (Unicom tool)
  • GUI/GUI testing
  • Project management skills

We offer several tasks for summer trainees. Your tasks will be agreed according to your interest and skills.

As part of a team, you will be contributing to:

  • Data automatization and visualization with PowerBI and Excel.
  • Analyzing user requirements for automation and analytics and optimizing the current automation and analytics code base.
  • Specifying, implementing, documenting, testing and supporting end-users for automation and analytics solutions.
  • Product decision process and depending on your experience, giving recommendations to product portfolio.
  • Technical literature studies.
  • Creating product portfolio descriptions and marketing material in PowerPoint.
  • Maintaining Product management data in Focal Point.
  • Analyzing Market and competitor information.
  • Internal communications development (e.g., updating internal Web pages, enhancing social media usage)
  • Product marketing, supporting communications and events.
