The Domain Architect is responsible for developing technical certifications that enable CNS teams to successfully design, deploy and support CNS products and solutions. The role requires an experienced team member with demonstrated technical competence across multiple CNS products. They must maintain technical proficiency with the latest product releases and evolutions, and disseminate this knowledge to the broader CNS community in a timely manner. A Domain Architect should have a deep understanding of how competency programs impact CNS technical competence, as well as the career growth and mobility of others.

The Training & Certifications (T&C) organization under Nokia MI CNS Core Networks (CN) is responsible for capabilities development and knowledge management across all CNS products and services. T&C helps build a continuous role-based learning culture combining all forms of learning with emphasis on collaboration to establish strong technical competence within MI CNS. We foster collaborative communities where team members learn from one another, capturing knowledge for future use.

If you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering / Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Twelve or more years of demonstrated experience in architecture, design, or deployment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Nokia products in at least one domain: IP Telephony, SSP, Platforms & Cloud Infrastructure
  • Knowledge of 4G/5G architecture and cloud native design
  • Continuous learning, adapting new technology and methodologies, staying up to date on relevant industry trends
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and sense of personal responsibility
  • High level of self-motivation and maturity
  • Strong team player and networking skills
  • Able to work as part of multi-cultural global team in different time zones.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experienced NTAS Engineer with Multi-vendor Telco Cloud deployment and architecture experience
  • 3rd party cloud certifications
  • Architecture, deployment and troubleshooting experience with CNS products in at least one of the following domains: IP Telephony: CFX, CNCS, NCES

  • Develop, update and support practitioner training content for L3 (Professional) product certifications based on latest product releases
  • Develop and support hands-on lab exercises for L3 (Professional) certifications on Nokia blueprint cloud infrastructure
  • Champion communities of practice for CNS products in area of expertise, including mentoring/On Job Training for L3+ (Professional with at least 6 months experience) certification candidates and leading technical jury panels for L4 (Expert) certifications
  • Acquire and maintain technical competence with latest releases of CNS products by participating in S&C projects and engagement in early PoCs (Proof of concept) and customer innovations to support capabilities development
  • Work closely with New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Delivery (NPD) teams on new deployment models to contribute & learn from field experience
  • Engage with R&D to understand the evolution of CNS products starting early in the product design lifecycle
  • Pilot and implement new and innovative ways of enablement and knowledge dissemination methods
