As a Customer Project Manager at Nokia, you will drive the successful delivery of innovative cloud-native solutions for communication service providers and enterprise clients. Your core mission is to ensure projects are executed on time, within scope and budget, while enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering strong relationships. By leading change management and utilizing best practices, you will directly contribute to Nokia's ambition of transforming the telecommunications landscape and delivering unparalleled value in a rapidly evolving digital world. Your leadership will be pivotal in navigating complex projects and achieving our vision of a connected and sustainable future.
You have:
- 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager in Telecom or IT, with a focus on external end-customer delivery in the Telco Operator domain
- Delivered projects with a solid understanding of waterfall and Agile methodologies, as well as DevOps solutions
- Native level in Japanese is a MUST, with basic business level in English
It would be nice if you also had:
- Ansible playbook automation experience is a big plus
- Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Prince2)
- Experience in customer requirements analysis, project planning, and solution design
- Experience with Japan telecom operators/carriers
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of customer projects, ensuring alignment with Nokia's operational standards and methodologies.
- Manage project delivery, maintaining oversight of cost, scope, schedule, and quality (CSSQ) to meet customer contract obligations.
- Act as the primary customer interface, addressing concerns, managing expectations, and fostering strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plan and adapt project schedules, ensuring proactive change management and consistent communication with stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance and profitability forecasts, identifying opportunities for project expansion and contract renewal.
- Facilitate successful handovers between project phases, ensuring smooth transitions from sales to execution and delivery to care.
- Implement risk management strategies, maintaining an up-to-date project status in all relevant tools and repositories.
- Lead the project team while occasionally taking on line management responsibilities, ensuring clear direction and fostering a collaborative environment.
