Our team, Session Border Controller R&D, is a part of the Mobile Infrastructure Operating Segment. This segment creates value for our customers by providing the core and radio network technology and services that create value for our customers with our robust IP portfolio. Our Session Border Control R&D team continues to evolve our software and solutions to connect networks and cloud while providing high value and creating new opportunities for our customers
Educational Recommendations:
Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, etc,. or a related field with an accredited school in the USA

This summer internship offers a meaningful opportunity to begin your journey in the world of advanced connectivity and telecommunications. Over the course of approximately ten weeks, you will gain firsthand exposure to a global technology leader while working alongside experienced professionals who are shaping the future of mobile communications. This program is designed to provide practical, real-world experience in a corporate environment, helping you build foundational skills, explore potential career paths, and contribute to impactful work that influences how people connect worldwide.
Active student status for at least one year, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
Ability and willingness to work on-site in the Naperville, IL office during the internship.
Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer term.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong teamwork mindset with a collaborative and professional attitude.
Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable work.
Knowledge of UNIX systems; familiarity with IP networking, Linux, programming, containerization, and virtualization is a plus, with a strong willingness to learn.
