This is a great opportunity to join the Network Architecture Research team at Nokia Bell Labs and contribute to an end-to-end view of modern communication networks, spanning mobile and fixed access, IP and optical transport, and cloud technologies. You will work alongside industry-leading researchers who are shaping the future of human experience through disruptive innovation and advanced research.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct fast-paced research and derive actionable insights
Proficiency in programming, particularly Python, along with experience using widely adopted libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
Solid foundational knowledge of communication theory and the principles of artificial intelligence
Nice to have:
Hands-on experience with digital twinning, 3D rendering and analysis tools or frameworks (e.g., Carla, Blender or similar platforms)
Understanding of semantic and goal-oriented communication principles
Practical expertise in training and evaluating advanced neural network models
Familiarity with radio access network operations, including physical (PHY), medium access control (MAC) and higher-layer protocols
As part of our team, you will:
- Work with members of the Bell labs Network Architecture Research team
- Define and implement software that solves Digital Twins and AI for RAN solutions
- Implement demonstrations of the developed solutions
- Leverage open-source and cloud software solutions
