About the Role:
Finance and Operations Intern will work for the Chief Operating Officer/CFO of the organization and General Manager and will support other team functions as necessary. The goal of this role is to help create and refine financial and operational management tools to help strategically manage the business.

Finance and Operations Intern to support the financial and operating organization of the Strategic Partnership Space Communications Business. Role will assist in the creation of financial analysis tools, budgetary models, dashboards and other strategic financial and operational tools to guide the day-to-day management of the organization. Additional projects may include business process projects, data migration projects and other financial analysis efforts.
- Computer savvy, familiar with Microsoft suite of tools including excel, SharePoint etc.

It would be nice if you also have:
- Completed some accounting/finance or business management classes
- Technically inclined with strong computer skills, agility and interest in learning tools
- Use a variety of systems and tools that will span, HR, Finance and Operations.
- Utilize new operating systems and establish reporting templates/dashboard within these tools, as well as with excel, SharePoint and other tools.
- Help to establish the core business operations infrastructure to manage the business
- Ability to engage with the leadership team to create KPI, business objectives and key strategic framework to manage the business
- Ability to develop strong cross-functional understanding of all necessary business operations and financial responsibilities to establish and run a business
