Join Nokia’s Mechanical Engineering R&D teams developing high‑performance IP switches and routers. As an intern, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in enclosure design, sheet metal, diecast, injection molding, and heatsink parts. You’ll tackle real design challenges, collaborate with assembly teams, explore 3D printing, and contribute to projects that power global communications. We are seeking motivated, self-driven undergraduate or graduate students in mechanical and/or thermal analysis engineering. Who wants to gain experience designing enclosures, sheet metal, diecast, injection molded, & heatsink parts. As part of our team, you will help with:
- Tackle complex design challenges
- Assist with the assembly team to create assemblies from 2D mechanical drawings
- Assist with the process and maintenance of the 3D printers
- Attend team meetings, learn about project methodologies, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Efficiently complete tasks and responsibilities assigned by a supervisor.
- Participate in periodic reviews to share updates and incorporate feedback on assigned projects/initiatives
- Familiar with 3D CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks or other mechanical design tools
