Nokia’s Defense team is a pioneering R&D organization focused on the unique needs of defense customers. Unlike typical commercial network deployments, this group explores new concepts and prototypes, ultimately helping transition innovation to market. As an Integration and Verification Intern, you will enable efforts to integrate, test, and demonstrate SW/HW/system components. You will participate in hands-on laboratory testing, automation scripting, system validation, and customer-focused demonstrations with an extra focus on leveraging AI capabilities. This is a high-impact, learning-intensive role suited for students eager to work at the intersection of innovation, defense applications, and next-generation telecom solutions.
- Familiarity with Python, C++, Java, or other scripting/programming languages.
- Experience with relevant AI tools and concepts.
- Experience with Linux, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and virtualization technologies.
- Understanding of telecom network architecture, protocols, and RF principles.
- Exposure to RF instrumentation and calibration techniques.
- Excellent communication and detailed skills.
- Analyse feature specifications and develop test cases.
- Leverage AI for improving our test capabilities.
- Set up, configure, and maintain lab/test environments.
- Execute and automate test plans using scripting tools (e.g., Python).
- Diagnose and reproduce complex system issues.
- Support test automation, vulnerability scanning, and reporting.
- Assist in the creation of product demos for internal and external audiences.
- Adhere to quality assurance practices and contribute to process improvement.
