As a Customer Project Manager in Nokia's Cloud and Network Services (CNS) Europe Program Management Team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cloud-native projects for telecommunication operators across Europe. You'll lead initiatives from conceptualization through to completion, ensuring projects adhere to scope, budget, and quality standards while fostering strong customer relationships. Collaborating closely with Business Delivery Managers, Technical Managers, and various teams including Sales and Engineering, you will drive project success and customer satisfaction. As a Customer Project Manager at Nokia, you will play a vital role in delivering innovative cloud-native solutions to telecommunications operators across Europe. Your mission is to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and quality standards while fostering strong customer relationships. By effectively orchestrating cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholder objectives, you will contribute to Nokia's broader mission of revolutionizing network services and empowering service providers to thrive in an increasingly digital world, ultimately driving the transition to sustainable, scalable, and customer-centric technology solutions.

You have:

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in managing projects/programs within the telecom or IT industry, preferably in the cloud.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with cross-cultural awareness.
  • Experience in budget management and financial forecasting of projects.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • European Union, Switzerland or United Kingdom nationality and residence, due security requirements.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience managing core network implementation projects, especially in 5G and cloud.
  • PMP or PMI Project Management certification.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders outside your immediate job area.
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously with good stress tolerance.

  • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Establish strong relationships with external customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee project communication, including planning, risk assessment, change management, and opportunity identification.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and project success, maintaining high standards for financial performance and contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate project closeout processes, ensuring thorough transition and handover of deliverables.
  • Proactively identify and address challenges while distilling complex information into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Participate in the sales process, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities with customers.
  • Travel within Europe approximately 20% of the time to engage with stakeholders and manage project-related activities.
