As a Senior Technical Specialist in the FN BBN TOP DevOps team, you will help define and implement digital architecture for key R&D areas to support long-term product-development acceleration and continuous delivery. You will contribute to the FN BBN DevOps enablement roadmap, optimize software integration and test flows, and work closely with product delivery units and service teams. As an expert, you will drive innovation by applying DevOps practices, leveraging tools from other BUs, and exploring opportunities in open-source software.

As a Senior Technical Specialist within the FN BBN Transformation & Operations team, this position contributes to the team’s DevOps enablement journey, which aims to achieve higher automation and shorter cycle times in product-development workflows, with more frequent incremental deliveries as the end goal.

You have:

  • Strong programming skills in at least one OOP language (e.g., Python, Groovy, Java) with solid UNIX/Linux knowledge.

  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, including advanced pipeline development and shared libraries.

  • Proficiency with Maven build systems, dependency management, and robust debugging/troubleshooting capabilities.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Helm).

  • Exposure to Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and Kibana for logging, monitoring, and analytics.

  • Knowledge of automation frameworks, particularly Robot Framework.

  • Troubleshoot and debug build, environment, and application issues through structured analysis.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field with 5- 10 Years of experience.

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (scripted, declarative, and shared libraries).

  • Integrate and optimize Maven-based build systems in collaboration with development teams.

  • Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes (K8s).

  • Exposure to Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and Kibana for logging, monitoring, and analytics.

  • Develop automation tools or scripts using Python, Groovy, Java, or similar OOP languages.

  • Monitor system performance with tools like Grafana and proactively address reliability issues.
