The Customer Project Manager is accountable for an external customer programme (collection of projects managed together for business benefits) or project for an assigned product and / or service scope. Assigns tasks to the project team and manages project resources and stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered in scope of contractual obligations and within forecasted costs, time, and required quality. Responsible for the overall project success with respect to external customer satisfaction, financial results, health & safety control activities, and operational services delivery performance. End-to-end project planning and risk and opportunity management.

You have:

  • Relevant experience (7-10 years) with a proven record of accomplishment, including managing project / programs for mobile telecommunication in the domain of core network, charging, and Cloud as a Service (CaaS) model.
  • Proven experience managing complex cross-functional projects and programs
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including PM@Nokia
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of the impacts of changes on scope, cost, schedule, risk / opportunities. Create and maintain response / mitigation plans which generate desired impact.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in delivering projects in a cloud environment
  • Industry-level project management certification (PMP, Agile, SaFE)

  • Lead cross-functional customer projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Manages project / program throughout all phases, starting from delivery approach identification to completion, including closure and / or handover.
  • Makes and maintains end-to-end project / program communication, planning, risk, change and opportunity management.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, addressing customer needs and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plans customer project and keeps plan updated to reflect and anticipate changes by coordinating change management on all aspects affecting cost, scope, schedule and quality (CSSQ).
  • Assures consistency among project financial, product and service forecast activities. Participates in pre-sales and sales process activities.
  • Determines delivery approach alternatives and manages the selection of the final recommended approach to delivery.
  • Ensures hand over from Sell to Execute and from Delivery to Care is done and monitors progress against it.
  • Coordinate project planning and change management, proactively updating plans to reflect changes in cost, scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Conduct thorough risk management, identifying and mitigating project risks while seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Ensure alignment with Nokia Mode of Operation (MoO) and adherence to PM@Nokia methodology across all project activities.
  • Monitor project financials and KPIs, maintaining accurate forecasts and driving industry best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Lead and inspire project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability among team members.
  • Oversee the successful closure and handover of projects, documenting lessons learned and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
