The Cloud Core MS Engineer at Nokia is responsible for managing the operations, maintenance, and optimization of the Cloud Core network, focusing on IMS, EPC, and SDM across various vendors. This role involves providing technical support for complex core nodes, handling escalations, and ensuring network stability and performance while meeting service level agreements. The engineer will collaborate with multiple teams to troubleshoot issues, manage network configurations, and support the development of local technical teams. With around 7 to 9 years of relevant experience, candidates should have a strong technical background in Cloud core technology and telecom operations.
Must-Have:
7-9 years of hands-on experience in IMS and SDM domains related to VoLTE technology
Fully experienced with Cloud core technology, including O&M and configuration of the Core network
Proficient in troubleshooting and tracing on interfaces using tools like Wireshark
Strong knowledge of STP, HSM, HSS/HLR, EIR, and AAA protocols
Previous experience providing 24/7 escalation support for network operations
Nice-To-Have:
Familiarity with 3G and 4G interfaces and related protocols
Experience scripting in Perl and shell on various Linux distributions
Understanding of Diameter (AVPs & result code) and GTP Protocols
Knowledge of delivery challenges in Telecom Operations and Maintenance
Experience performing Single Point of Contact (SPOC) level tasks
Provide end-to-end technical support and operations management for Cloud Core network components, including IMS and EPC.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues within deployed core network nodes.
Manage technical escalations and coordinate emergency responses for outages and critical incidents.
Support customers in enhancing network performance and fulfilling service level agreements (SLAs).
Act as the primary technical interface for customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Monitor network performance and ensure optimal configuration for all network elements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational faults and maintain network stability.
Facilitate the competence development of local technical teams to ensure effective operations.
