Procurement is the business partner to provide 3rd Party Americas Market based sourcing solutions orchestrating its implementation for large and strategically important projects. This professional will define and deploy the market procurement strategy for NAM and LAT and support Americas market procurement performance, objectives and targets. Support supply assurance in accordance with Americas Market and category strategy for all customer projects in the Americas Market area and provide end-to-end procurement and supplier management in Americas Market, regarding services, products and materials towards CT and customer project requirements.

The Market Procurement Support Specialist team is part of the MN Market Services Procurement Organization. Our responsibilities support customer projects for both North America and Latin America to execute the Supplier Base Management Concept to build relationships with internal stakeholders, participate in their budgeting, analyze and evaluate spend history and future spend needs, gather and analyze market information on the relevant supply market.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business management, engineering or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years + of progressive procurement experience in a global manufacturing environment with proven track record.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Continuous self-development.
Fluent in spoken and written English and comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
Ability to speak and present effectively to peers and Senior Management is a plus.
Proficiency in ERP and MS Office applications is valued.
Good knowledge with Ariba e-sourcing platform, CLM APTTUS, SBM, SAP is a plus.
- Support the execution of strategic sourcing activities.
- Provide data analysis and improvement recommendation for category spend.
- Support key sourcing metrics (Price, Quality, Logistics, Innovation and Risk).
- Support supplier base reduction and simplification strategies.
- Follow sourcing process in RFQ preparation and implementation.
- Prepare key metric reports for department.
- Responsible for maintenance of all sourcing data within ERP system as it pertains to assigned products/spend categories and suppliers.
- Provide guidance to others by communicating and reinforcing strategic and tactical procurement plans.
