The Virtual Architecture Team (VAT) is a cross-functional group of software and hardware architects responsible for overseeing the technical analysis, effort estimation, and architectural integrity of new features within each team . The team ensures consistent design reviews and approvals, identifies impacted DUs, coordinates across VATs when needed, and supports feature implementation to maintain compliance with architectural principles. VAT members provide domain expertise, guide feature teams, and contribute to the evolution and coherence of the overall product architecture.,

We are looking for a SW Architect to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions using cutting-edge technologies. You will work in a DevOps-driven environment, contributing to product innovation, cloud-based architectures, and automation while ensuring world-class performance and scalability.
- Masters/Bachelor Degree in computers/communication/electrical engineering
- 10+ years of experience in Java development, troubleshooting, and software lifecycle management.
- Experience with SNMP, NetConf-YANG models, and REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and Linux command-line operations.
- Expertise in microservices architecture, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
- Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in architecture role.
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or similar certification.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Elasticsearch.
- Knowledge of SDN/NFV concepts and automation.
- Hands-on experience with IDEs, testing frameworks, and defect tracking tools.
- Prototype and integrate emerging technologies such as OSGi, Microservices, Kubernetes, and ElasticSearch.
- Responsible for architecture activities for the feature
- Performs feasibility studies of new features, including effort estimates
- Helps define software requirements, together with Architects and PLM
- Ensures the requirements are implemented in line with the product architecture
- Works with relevant Architects for the areas being impacted by the feature
- Contribute to new feature development and resolve software bugs.
- Support customer escalations and ensure robust system reliability.
