As the Charging System Specialist at Nokia, you will be responsible for effective Backoffice operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software primarily focused on Charging & Mediation System.
You have:
- 8+ years of cloud operations & hands–on charging & mediation experience in a production environment.
- Degree(s)/Major(s): Masters/Bachelors Computer Science/Electrical/Telecom/Computer Engineering.
- Expertise in BRM (Billing and Revenue Management) and ECE (Elastic Charging Engine)
- In-depth knowledge of online and offline charging systems
- Proficient in Linux, SQL, and MongoDB
- Strong understanding of GX, GY, and SY interfaces
- Adequate understanding of customer onboarding flows.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Expertise in SQL / Oracle / Oracle Database
- Expertise in Linux / Bash Scripting
- Knowledge of Call, SMS, Data Flows
- Expertise in Wireshark / Call, SMS and Data Trace Analyzation
- Experience in incident response and compliance documentation
- Oversee daily system monitoring to ensure integrity, availability, and performance of Charging & Mediation system resources and key processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to maintain operational stability.
- Skilled BRM (Billing and Revenue Management) expertise includes an in-depth understanding for effective billing and revenue management.
- Proficient in dynamically configuring quota for data services to optimize resource utilization and enhance user satisfaction.
- Skilled in deploying and configuring new Rating groups setups for efficient data service.
- Demonstrated understanding of 2G, 4G calls and SMS flows at the IDP level, ensuring adept troubleshooting and optimization.
- Comprehensive grasp of telecommunication interfaces including CAP V2, CAP V3, MAP, SMPP, and M3UA, facilitating seamless communication between network elements.
- Proficient in BRM integration with upstream system
- Skilled in API testing and validation
- Expertise in reading and interpreting CDRs (Call Detail Records) and EDRs (Event Detail Records)
- Participate in ISO/ITIL/ISMS processes as required.
