As a Test Technician, you will support rolling shifts, ensuring RF testers and test instruments are functioning optimally to meet customer demands for 4G/5G technology. You will be responsible for tester and fixture maintenance, monitoring uptime, reducing downtime, and supporting the overall testing process.
You have:
- Engineering or Diploma berween 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with handling structural equipment, including SPEA FPT, Keysight ICT, and Data IO PSV5000/7000.
- Experience in the asset transfer process, including physical inventory, tester validation, packing, and shipping.
- Hands-on experience supporting global teams for tester installation and breakdown issues at EMS sites.
- Expertise in troubleshooting tester issues, particularly RF filters, TRX PCBA, and radio unit testing.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Familiarity with managing and verifying test instrument calibration cycles to ensure proper functionality.
- Exposure to prepare weekly and monthly executive summary, MIS reports.
- You will contribute to maintaining RF testers and fixtures, ensuring optimal uptime for testing.
- You will learn techniques for reducing false call rates and troubleshooting PCBA-level issues.
- You will contribute to minimizing downtime by identifying issues early and assisting with timely resolutions.
- Gain expertise in following test procedures and checklists, ensuring accuracy and consistency in testing.
- You will learn effective communication and reporting by coordinating with shift engineers and team members for on-time task completion.
- Gain hands-on experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) and mass production tester installation, validation, and maintenance.
- You will contribute to Kaizen and continuous improvement efforts, focusing on performance optimization and process enhancements.
- Developing skills in managing assets, including tester transfer, physical inventory, and reporting on critical spare shortages.
