Must-Have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • 12+ years of experience in design, development, and troubleshooting on the Java platform with architect experience
  • Proven ability to quickly prototype and validate design approaches
  • Experience in design and development of NMS/EMS with knowledge of SNMP/Netconf-Yang
  • Familiar with Linux, Cloud/Virtualization, Kubernetes, and Containers

Nice-To-Have:

  • Knowledge of Kafka and ElasticSearch
  • Familiarity with OSGi
  • Ability to mentor and coach distributed engineering teams

  • Define and implement the Altiplano architecture and design for fixed access domain controller products.
  • Contribute to the BU’s innovation strategy and drive alignment with industry trends in management solutions.
  • Mentor and coach a geographically diverse engineering team for efficient and high-quality design processes.
  • Lead internal process improvements in software engineering to enhance team practices and performance.
  • Collaborate with other Nokia Business Groups on multi-domain management solutions and technology adoption.
  • Actively participate in cross-group workgroups to promote best practices and common technology deployment.
  • Drive innovation processes and foster customer collaborations to identify new opportunities.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design issues, providing expertise on the features you design and own.
