Are you a visionary technical expert passionate about shaping the future of mobile networks? Do you thrive at the intersection of cutting-edge technology, strategic sourcing, and collaborative innovation? Nokia Mobile Networks is seeking a Technical Expert, SoCs to join our Strategic Sourcing team.
Must-have:
- Extensive experience (7+ years preferred) in supplier engagement and collaboration with R&D teams on complex product development, particularly in the semiconductor domain.
- Deep understanding of System on Chip (SoC) / ASIC architecture and development principles.
- Proven ability to manage component lifecycles, including qualification processes and technical quality resolution.
- Experience with highly collaborative chip engagements (e.g., ASIC, ASSP, or CSSP).
- A relevant graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with high-speed SoC interconnects (e.g., SERDES, Ethernet, PCIe, UCIe).
- Knowledge of various processor architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, Cortex-A, Neoverse).
- Understanding of 3rd party SoC IP/Silicon IP licensing models and markets.
- Experience with advanced semiconductor packaging (e.g., MCM, 2.5D, 3D).
- Background in semiconductor manufacturing processes, quality, and qualification.
- Effective presentation and technical writing skills.
