Customer Services (CS) covers customer service in different areas such as technical support, account support, operations, maintenance, network design / deployment / integration / transformation, and education. Generates revenue and the increase of customer satisfaction through planning, designing, deploying, integrating, optimising, operating, and maintaining phases.

Background & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Telecommunications or Electrical.

  • 15+ years in telecom project implementation, including 4+ years in MEA as Site Engineering Manager, Services Solution Manager, Project Manager, or Rollout Manager.

  • Proven onsite experience in MEA with customer-facing roles on FTK projects.

  • Strong knowledge of Deploy delivery models, project blueprints, and site implementation processes.

  • Hands-on expertise in MN products (RAN, MW, Energy) and full scope of site engineering activities—site design, surveys, BOQs, MOPs, and installation guidelines.

  • Familiar with Health & Safety standards, site risk assessments, and Deploy Digital tools for site process automation.

  • Effective in cross-functional collaboration with customers, sales, project teams, subcontractors, and global product units.


As Site Engineering Manager and Subject Matter Expert you are:

  • Expert & owning advanced skill level in Mobile Networks projects, with depth knowledge in the MN product portfolio, Deploy portfolio, E2E Project Implementation, & related technical aspects.
  • Has in-depth organizational and relevant MEA market knowledge and uses understanding on how relevant areas can be integrated to achieve objectives.
  • Works autonomously and effectively in a mixed environment and matrix organization, regionally & globally, uses best practices and knowledge to improve products or services.
  • Contributes to strategic decisions within professional area, on Market level as well as global level.
  • Solves complex problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment.
  • Contributes to development of concepts to determine professional direction of own organizational unit.
  • When needed, acts as a professional leader for staff / work team / taskforces, often the most senior specialist in a team, who serves as best practice resource within own organizational unit and/or is recognized as an expert within the same professional area in the business.

In Pre-Sales, Project Initiation/Planning phase you are responsible for:

  • Technical and site solution content support to Deploy Product Management (Deploy Services Portfolio sales/Global Sale Services) for project tender and preparation.
  • Strong MEA Market Site Engineering knowledge, expertise, best practices & lessons learned.
  • Participation on customer pre-sales workshops as Senior Site Engineering SME.
  • Up-sell opportunity identification and portfolio promotion.
  • Manages finalization of site solution technical design (Model Sites) for project implementation according to Technical and Services solutions agreed with customer. Collaborate with Deploy Services Portfolio sales and if needed co-ordinate NPO, SA and CW input to ensure proper technical site solution.
  • Supports CDM/PD in project preparation during project planning phase by providing site workflow process and site engineering expertise.

In Delivery phase you are responsible for:

  • Customer interface to agree site technical solutions and specifications for project works. Technical interface for site engineering issues in project. When needed, escalation interface with customer relating to implementation and site solutions issues.
  • Ensures creation and updates to site solution technical designs and installation planning guidelines for project implementation. When needed, co-ordinates Services Portfolio sales, RN PPS, TM, NPO, SA and CW input to ensure proper technical solution.
  • Support Procurement and Logistics in procurement and delivery of services and installation materials from suppliers. Evaluate technical solution of material suppliers.
  • Manages/supports project ramp-up activities from Deploy Site Engineering side. When needed, collaborate with project team to insure technical documentation, implementation guidelines, enabling of internal/external parties, & related share of responsibilities are all completed.
  • Manages/supports Site Material Manager and project logistics in preparing project product and material requirements and demand plans.
