Site Engineering Specialist creates or adopts customer project telecom implementation model site solutions and optimises workflow processes. Site Engineering Specialist is mainly assigned to customer projects as a subject matter expert on radio site installation. Controls the completion of site-specific documentation like workflow, scope of work, including approval of the TSSR's and as-built documentation. Responsible for subcontractors' enabling, supporting, and auditing.
- Expertise in radio telecom implementation projects (including new site builds and swaps)
- Hands-on experience with Nokia radio equipment, specifically Nokia AirScale BTS and related solutions (antenna systems, power systems)
- Background in technical training or coaching for subcontractors
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the Europe
- Fluent English and German (work for the project in the Europe)
- Provides technical and site solution input to Deploy Services and Product Management during tenders and planning.
- Offers local project knowledge and Site Engineering expertise.
- Participates in customer pre-sales workshops as a Site Engineering subject matter expert; identifies up-sell opportunities and promote portfolio.
- Supports the Project Delivery Manager with site workflows and engineering processes.
- Finalises technical site solution designs (Model Sites) in alignment with customer agreements.
- Leads Deploy Site Engineering ramp-up activities, including subcontractors’ enabling (License to Work).
- Delivers technical training and coaching to subcontractors per project plans.
- Manages subcontractors’ issues and provides support for installation challenges and customer requirements.
- Defines site survey and implementation documentation, roles, and acceptance processes with key stakeholders.
- Reviews Technical Site Survey (TSS) reports and addresses related issues; supports material management.
- Updates and adjusts technical site designs and installation guidelines as needed throughout delivery.
- Tracks and implements technical changes; ensures proper communication with project teams and subcontractors.
- Collaborates with Quality Manager on installation quality through audits and on-site reviews with customers.
