The Hub Specialist is a logistics expert responsible for supporting the daily operations, material flow, and continuous improvement of the Nokia hub operation in Lewisville, TX.

The Hub Specialist will be part of the NI team of hub managers and specialists working to standardize and optimize the NI global hub and end-to-end logistics operations.

The Hub Specialist will be part of the NI team of hub managers and specialists working to standardize and optimize the NI global hub and end-to-end logistics operations.

You Have:

  • Understanding warehouse logistics and supply chain environment

  • Understanding warehouse related costing and pricing

  • Competence in international shipping

  • Understanding 3PL

  • SAP on-hand experience

  • Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers

  • Strong problem solving and proactive mindset




The primary responsibilities for NI Hub Specialist are:

  • Responsible for coordinating daily activities between Hub LSP (Logistics Service Provider) and Nokia Stakeholders.

  • Ensure daily capacity and flexibility are available in the Hub. Coordinate daily priority material flow with LSP.

  • Act as the first level escalation point.

  • Provide daily support and reports to Hub Manager, acting as a delegate when required.

  • Contribute to minimizing inventory (Pack&Hold, obsolete, blocked stock).

  • Manage RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) at the Hub.

  • Maintain and revise operational reporting and Hub-related KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

  • Follow up on and analyze data related to inbound, storage, and outbound activities.

  • Drive resolution for non-conforming material.

  • Be a liaison between market operations, supply, and delivery teams.

  • Support issue resolution for SAP related issues.

  • Identify key improvement areas and drive continuous improvement.

  • Resolve customer order-related issues, collaborating closely with internal Customer Teams.

  • Act as SAP key user and support SAP improvement and automation deployment.

  • Support global distribution process standardization.
