Join our global Optical Test Organization as a Test Innovation & AI Enablement Engineer, where you’ll drive the adoption of automation and AI-powered solutions to modernize testing workflows. You’ll work across feature teams to identify opportunities for innovation, improve test efficiency, and scale successful practices globally. This role bridges test engineering, software, system engineering, tools, and AI expertise to deliver smarter, faster, and more resilient testing strategies.

• Strong background in test automation (preferably Python) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).

• Familiarity with telecom/optical networking hardware and software testing.

• Experience or strong interest in AI/ML applications in testing and automation.

• Ability to understand complex test environments and hierarchical test structures.

• Excellent cross-team communication and leadership skills.

• Proven ability to deliver prototypes and translate them into scalable solutions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.


• Collaborate with test teams to identify and scale automation and observability solutions.

• Explore and prototype AI/ML use cases for test scheduling, selection, and analysis.

• Represent the test organization across feature teams to align strategies and share insights.

• Integrate AI enhancements into existing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.

• Facilitate cross-team knowledge sharing and adoption of innovative tools.

• Align test strategies with system engineering requirements and field feedback.
