As a Procurement Support Trainee at Nokia, you will play a crucial role in assisting our Regional Procurement Managers in their daily tasks to ensure smooth execution. You will work closely with Regional Procurement Managers to support the internal stakeholders to meet all sourcing needs in the Markets and Projects, including supplier scouting, evaluation, selection, negotiation, onboarding, and relationship management. Additionally, you will help enforce sourcing policies and support cost optimization efforts. Join our team and contribute to our ambitious transformation plans.

Location: Hybrid in Amadora, Portugal
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate who holds a BSc or MSc degree in Science.

You have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey ideas and information
  • Very good use of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to navigate and utilize various functions and features
  • A solid grasp of time management, allowing you to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and efficiently allocate resources
  • An open mindset towards learning and a willingness to explore and implement new approaches, techniques, and tools
  • A collaborative nature and the ability to effectively work as part of a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Programming skills with proficiency in one or more programming languages, enabling you to automate tasks and develop custom solutions
  • Prior work experience in a relevant field, providing you with a deeper understanding of industry practices and processes
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools, allowing you to effectively analyze and present data in a visually appealing and informative manner

    As part of the team, you will:
  • Complete contract templates accurately and efficiently to support procurement processes.
  • Update and maintain the procurement database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and suppliers to gather necessary information and build strong relationships.
  • Contribute to the digitalization and automation of procurement processes, striving for increased efficiency.
  • Follow up on action items to ensure timely resolution and maintain process momentum.
  • Manage and organize relevant procurement documents to ensure proper documentation and easy access.
