Lead Software & Solutions Architect
As a Lead Software & Solution Architect, you will serve as a key technical expert in the development and implementation of Nokia's Hardware Services data-lake solutions. You'll be responsible for designing and building cloud-native architectures, integrating big data platforms, and ensuring robust software engineering practices throughout the lifecycle. You’ll collaborate closely with solution architects, business stakeholders, and agile delivery teams to bring digital solutions from concept to production, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Design and implement end-to-end software and data solutions using Azure, Databricks, Synapse, and other cloud-native tools.
- Translate technical requirements into detailed software designs and configurations.
- Build, test, and deploy high-quality code using Python (PySpark), C#, SQL, and front-end technologies like React or Angular.
- Lead the integration of structured/unstructured data sources and build visualizations and automations.
- Drive CI/CD implementation and follow Agile practices for iterative development and delivery.
- Ensure architectural alignment, software quality, and production readiness of all releases.
- Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, prototyping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and guide teams on emerging digital and cloud technologies.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS)
- Proficient in Azure Data services including Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Proficiency in Python (PySpark) and C#
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Familiarity with YAML for configuration and deployment
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React and Angular
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Experience working in Agile environments, including sprint planning and delivery
