Sales Engineer Intern
The Nokia Network Infrastructure Enterprise Sales team in the Netherlands is seeking a proactive and communicative Sales Engineering intern to support business development in Data Center Networking and Optical LAN (Local Area Network) solutions through local Dutch partners. The intern will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, assist partners with Nokia’s configuration and quoting tools, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing using Nokia’s AI-powered intranet hub. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to apply technical and communication skills in a dynamic sales environment.
Position: Internship
Duration: 3-6 months
Start Date (tentative): November 2025
Location: Hybrid in Hoofddorp, Netherlands
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their BSc or MSc degree in Computer and Communication Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school
You will be entitled to an internship allowance of €749 per month (based on 40 hours per week) which applies for MBO, HBO and WO students.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Engage with Enterprise Sales account and partners sales managers in the Benelux
- Engagement with Network Infrastructure (NI) - Internet Protocol, Fixed Networks, Optical - business centers on the specifics of the DCN (Data Center Networking) and POL (Passive Optical LAN) solutions
- Report progress to the Head of the NI Enterprise Europe Customer Solutions team based in the Netherlands and share findings and progress across this team (with team members based throughout Europe)
- Formulate a process for regular updates of the NICO DCN - our AI Assistant tool in Network Infrastructure
- Interact and visit on a regular basis 2-3 Nokia Partners based in the Netherlands under the guidance of the NI Enterprise account team
Qualifications
You have:
- An ongoing bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer and Communication Engineering, or a similar field of study
- Good communication skills
- Presentation skills
- Creativity and teamwork spirit
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
