As a Test Engineer, your core mission is to ensure the quality and performance of our cutting-edge integrated hardware and software systems, specifically within the GPON, L2/L3, and Wi-Fi domains. You will autonomously analyze specifications, develop robust testing solutions, and resolve complex customer issues, directly contributing to the seamless experience we provide our users.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Independently analyze and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing effective solutions and recommendations.
- Develop, test, and deploy software/hardware releases based on customer requirements and industry standards.
- Guide new team members on procedures and task execution, facilitating a smooth onboarding experience.
- Handle customer trouble tickets, diagnosing complex technical problems and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute technical requirements that align with customer needs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on product changes, ensuring accurate supply and customer notifications.
- Lead small project teams, overseeing specific tasks while contributing to overarching team objectives.
- Enhance quality standards and promote continuous improvement in processes and tools within the organization.
Qualifications
You have:
- Bachelors of Masters in engineering with 2-6 years of experience in the Testing Domain
- Experience in GPON, 10G PON, L2/L3 Domain, TR69 (CWMP), TR369, and Wifi basics
- Proficiency with testing tools such as Spirent TestCenter, Ixia, Avalanche, CDrouter, and MT2
- Mandatory experience with TCP/IP networks and protocols
- Automation test script experience in Python OR shell scripting
It would be nice if you also had:
- Knowledge of routing and switching concepts
- Familiarity with hardware/software change control management
