Data Center Fabric NPI Engineer

• Works independently and effectively in his / her area of New Product Introduction by defining and running customer pre-sales activities such as: Product or Solution
• Demos, Lab Trials, Field Trials, Type Approvals on our products or solutions.
• Work in close coordination with Product Line Management and pre-sales teams to align technical solutions with customer expectations.
• Advise customers on Nokia-validated design best practices and architecture principles, persuading them to purchase our products and solutions.
• Interprets internal and external business challenges to improve New Product Introduction related processes and services.
• Integrate cross-domain expertise, including cloud and data center networking, and provide support as a trusted advisor.
• Solve complex problems through analytical thought and complex judgment.
  

You have:

• B. Sc. Degree in Computer, Electronics, Telecommunications and Computer Science Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in IP and DC networking, with a strong focus on data center fabric solutions and routing technologies.
• Deep knowledge of L2/L3 protocols, including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with Data Center design principles (leaf-spine, Clos fabrics, intent-based networking).
• Strong troubleshooting experience with real-world deployment issues (system-level, underlay/overlay, multi-vendor).
• Experience with automation and management platforms (YANG, REST, gNMI, Ansible, Python, API, YAML).
• Experienced with public cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS and Azure
• Working knowledge of cloud-native technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, VMware, Openstack, container networking.
• Hands-on experience with Nokia SR Linux and SROS Nokia routers highly preferred.
• Certifications such as Nokia Data Center Fabric Professional, NRS I/II, Cisco CCIE/CCNP, or equivalent are assets
  
  

It would be nice if you also had:

• Certifications like CCIE/CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIE/JNCIS
• Experience with virtualization, SDN, and cloud technologies
• Familiarity with hypervisors like KVM or VMware
• Knowledge of test and measurement equipment like Spirent or IXIA
• Hands-on experience with Nokia’s Event-Driven Automation (EDA).
• Working knowledge of competitor router platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or Huawei.
