FN New Product Introduction Engineer

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer at Nokia, you'll play a crucial role in driving the successful launch of cutting-edge network technologies. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll manage the end-to-end NPI process, from designing innovative network configurations to executing live product demonstrations and acceptance testing with customers. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Lead and execute all aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring customer validation and acceptance.
  • Develop and design network configurations tailored to specific customer requirements.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and proof-of-concept trials to showcase new solutions.
  • Execute comprehensive acceptance tests in both Nokia labs and customer environments.
  • Facilitate workshops and perform fault analysis to resolve issues during NPI activities.
  • Take ownership of technical solutions, ensuring successful implementation within customer projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share lessons learned and drive process improvements.
  • Utilize specialist knowledge to tackle complex network design and configuration challenges.

Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience
  • High motivation to work with access network technologies and products
  • Three years of technical work experience in FTTH, GPON, P2P, OSS
  • Knowledge of network forwarding and routing (NRS1, CCNA, or equivalent)
  • Experience with containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and Python or equivalent

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with Kubernetes Clusters and container/VM management
  • Knowledge of MS Azure, Amazon AWS, Google GKE, Google Anthos, and cloud scripting
  • Solid background in Linux/Unix server system administration
  • Understanding of web services, API, REST, RPC, and experience with Ansible or Python scripting
