Senior Technical Specialist
As a Network Automation Developer in Nokia’s Network Automation team, you will leverage your expertise in IP network management and protocols like SNMP, NetConf, and gNMI to develop and test carrier-grade automation solutions, collaborate with passionate professionals on high-impact projects, and contribute to shaping the future of network management in a flexible, innovative environment.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Work with cross-functional agile teams in designing and developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to refine technical requirements.
- Participate in architectural discussions to refine and optimize system designs for scalability and performance.
- Engage in hands-on automation and test strategy design, ensuring high-quality standards and best practices are maintained.
- Drive innovation by exploring new ideas, tools, and methodologies to enhance team performance and project outcomes.
- Contribute to challenging projects that push the boundaries of technology, working alongside some of the industry’s brightest engineers.
Qualifications
You Have:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with 8+ years of work experience
- Experience in testing design, writing test cases, raising defects, verifying fixes, patches & enhancements.
- Hands-on experience on Docker/Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, EFK, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, Zookeeper and databases like Postgres DB
- Experience working on Linux platform with good understanding of Linux security internals.
- Strong in test automation; including GUI automation (Selenium, JavaScript, html5, Mocha) and script development (shell/PERL/python) Automation using Python, Selenium
It would be nice if you also have:
- Knowledge of Logging and Monitoring, Storage and Data Persistence, Networking is an added advantage.
- Experience in working with EMS/NMS products which manage telecommunication networks.
- Experience on network management concepts, protocols and modelling (e.g. SNMP, NetConf-Yang, RESTCONF)
