As a Systems Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Nokia Cloud infrastructure and related network run efficiently, seamlessly, for all users. The candidate should be a highly skilled learner and experienced IT professional with deep understanding of cloud computing, network design, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Lead end-to-end cloud infrastructure deployment across CBIS/OpenStack, NCS/OpenShift/NCP, and VMware ESXi/Tanzu environments, including pre-deployment planning, hardware commissioning, and network configuration.
- Execute software deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless application onboarding and readiness.
- Manage ongoing infrastructure operations and maintenance, including platform and network monitoring, issue resolution via JIRA, and regular software updates or redeployment.
- Integrate cloud infrastructure with Network Management, OSS, and NetAct systems, coordinating with IP and Firewall teams for complete lab data center connectivity.
- Ensure robust configuration management by performing regular backups, optimizing backup routines, and maintaining accurate version control across hardware and software assets.
- Deliver comprehensive reporting, including weekly management updates, utilization metrics, and enhanced inventory tracking, while improving internal lab tools for better efficiency.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You Have:
- English proficiency is mandatory
- A Bachelors’/Masters’/Equivalent degree in Computer Science / Networking, with 8+years of experience in data center operations and management with hands-on expertise in enterprise servers (HPE, Dell, Airframe) and network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls (Nokia, HPE, Dell, Cisco).
- Skilled in Linux administration across multiple distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu) and proficient in private cloud platforms such as OpenStack, VMware, Kubernetes, Nokia CBIS/NCS, RH OpenShift, NCP, and VMware Tanzu.
- Strong background in Networking ,VNF and CNF deployment readiness, onboarding support, and automation using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using Linux shell, Python, and Perl for efficient operations and process optimization
It would be nice if you also have:
- Knowledge in VNFM and NFVO management using CBAM, NCOM, NCD, and other MANO applications, with expertise in Nokia Core Networks VNF and CNF products.
- Exposure to Public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipeline deployment to ensure efficient and reliable delivery.
- Knowledge in OSS/NMS systems and proven ability in solution architecture, design, and planning for complex network environments
