Small cells AIO- NLT Test Engineer
Join Nokia as a NLT Test Engineer and be at the forefront of 5G technology! In this role, you will integrate and validate E2E solution across multiple NEs – 5G Small Cells, Core N/W, Cloud based EMS, ORAN SMO etc.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- You’ll validate 5G Small Cells solution, conducting functional testing, call processing/OAM testing, and automation runs while ensuring system upgrades and backward compatibility.
- You will critically review customer requirements and high-level designs to ensure comprehensive test planning and validation coverage.
- You will design and execute testing strategies for new features and regression testing of previous releases to maintain product quality.
- You will perform thorough requirement analysis, risk assessments, and detailed test planning to mitigate verification risks effectively.
- You will participate in automation efforts to enhance regression test coverage and improve the efficiency of the testing process.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in engineering (Electronics & Communications; Computer Science, EEE) with 3 to 5 years of relevant wireless domain experience
- Possess prior experience in 5G wireless networks, 3GPP standards, FACPS and E2E network configurations
- knowledge of NAS protocols, Call Control, Mobility Management & Radio Resource Management functions.
- Experience in TCP/IP suite, SNMP and IKE interfaces and various 3GPP protocol analysers like QxDM,
- Knowledge of Linux, UNIX, scripting language or Python is essential
- Fast learning abilities , good analytical and problem-solving skills
It would be nice if you also had:
- Hands on experience in IPSEC/PKI interfaces with SeGW, AAA and PKI interfaces .
- Familiarity with O-RAN Alliance specifications (especially O1, R1 interfaces) and NETCONF/RESTCONF protocols for configuration management.
- Experience with Robot automation framework and Python script expertise is a plus.
