Senior Cloud and Technology Consultant

In this critical role within Nokia's Client Consulting team, you will serve as a key expert in end-to-end Mobile Networks Solution Architecture, focusing on innovative 5G core network design and deployment. You’ll actively interpret complex business challenges and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge solutions that enhance our products and services. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, your contributions will shape strategic decisions and drive performance improvements across diverse projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in navigating the evolving landscape of telecommunications.

• End-to-end Mobile Networks Solution Architecture with good understanding of e2e Mobile Networks technologies, including Cloud Native Computing such as Kubernetes, NFV, SDN, 5G NSA/SA, network slicing,
• In-depth knowledge of PS, EPC, IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi, PCRF, DRA, STP, Fixed Mobile Convergence, Unified Data Management, etc.
• E2E Design authority for 5G SA core network, with solution design and delivery governance for 5G core networks.
• High competence in 5G SA Core architecture, design and deployment with experience in 5G SA deployment programs on cloud-native stack and VMware TCA– for Nokia PaCo CNFs (CMM and CMG).
• Expertise in defining end-to-end cloud automation frameworks based on industry best practices [CI/CD LCM, test automation, CM automation, Observability, etc.]
• Good understanding of Cloud Automation use cases (CI/CD automation, test automation, CM automation, Observability…) and technology / open-source tools in GitOps (GitLab /Jenkins), Monitoring (Prometheus / Graphana), Logging (ElasticSearch), Service Mesh (K8/ Docker), SaaS/PaaS (AWS / Azure / GCP), telco configurators (YANG/NETCONF).
• Experience working across multiple partners on IaaS, CaaS, and Network layers; and driving collaboration between application, Core Network Functions and CaaS teams.
  

If you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• 15+ years working with EPC/5GC packet core, with excellent command of interfaces between AMF, SMF, UPF, NRF.
• Hands-on experience with Nokia CMM, CMG CNFs.

• Strong understanding of telecommunications network architecture and technologies.
