Head of Market Services Japan & Korea
Market Services is the delivery arm for Cloud Native Core and Business Application, and as the Market Services of Japan & Korea, you will be leading a high performance bi-lingual team of Services Professionals in project implementation (Delivery) and technical support (Care Services). You will also be part of the Cloud & Network Services (CNS) Business Group Leadership team in Japan and part of CNS Market Services Leadership team in APAC.

In this role, you will learn, contribute to and lead "real world" implementation of disruptive technology across Cloud Native 5G Core, IMS, dynamic services slicing, Next Generation Services Orchestration, monetization of digital technology (e.g. Digital Market Place), automation & analytics, security and much more. You will be part of the high-performance team in Japan, leading Market Services in CNS Business Group, working hand in hand with sales and presales, and being the primary contributor to customer delight and revenue conversion within the CNS portfolio. You will be actively engaging with senior executives (e.g. CTO and CIO level) of all major operators in Japan, supporting and influencing their transformation into the digital economy.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- Local Line Management experience in Japan and good understanding of the Japanese culture
- High learning agility - Technical and Business
- Track record of leading high-performance Services Teams
- Sound understanding of Telecom, Software, Services, Cloud technologies. Highly proficient/experiences in one, high level understanding of the rest.
- Experience about forecast management (revenue and sales margin forecast for current, following quarters and year)
It would be nice if you also had:
- High proficiency in Japanese
- Management experience across several functional areas or businesses.
- Mastery of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and practice or expertise across several different disciplines within a function.
- Track record of being a recognized thought leader.
- Existing relationship with senior Telecom execs in Japanese operators (CTO, VP Technology, VP Core, VP Digital Services)
