Senior Technical Specialist

As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will lead the development of high-complexity features, ensuring scalability, performance, and quality. You will guide a small team or multiple features, driving technical discussions and architectural enhancements.

Your expertise in OpenSearch, Kubernetes, Helm, and automation will support the design of robust search and analytics solutions. You will be responsible for data ingestion using Logstash and Fluentd, dashboard customization, and functional test automation with Radish framework. Strong scripting (Shell, Python), debugging, and analytical skills are essential for troubleshooting and optimizing solutions.

• Lead & perform development activities of high complexity features.
• Lead technically and support a small team / multiple features in the completion of a project/stream.
• Lead technical discussions with peers about enhancements/improvements in own area(s) of expertise.
• Create parts of architecture (small/basic) with focus on performance & scale.
• Drive non-functional requirements within team.
• Effectively handles complex customer issues.
• Improves the code base with the outcome measurable product behavior.
• Owns complex features and ensure delivery completion with quality.

You have:

• Engineering graduate or equivalent degree with 9+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable and robust search and analytics solutions using Open Source.
• Design, implement, and maintain features for Open Telemetry or Prometheus, Victoria Metrics or OpenSearch.
• Expertise in programming/scripting languages such as Golang.
• Develop and implement functional tests and automation using the Radish framework. Experience with agile methodologies.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and Helm: Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, deployment strategies, and Helm chart creation and management

It would be nice if you have:

• Understanding of Kubernetes and Helm for deployment, managing microservices, and optimizing containerized environments.
• Knowledge on CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Groovy for building and managing automated pipelines
