EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a candidate for a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with an accredited school in the US.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As a part of our team, you will:

Explore and validate technologies that enable transfers of large data files over large bandwidth-delay-product (BDP) networks, including:

  • Virtualization technologies for resolving the operation of real-time operating systems.
  • Virtualization of data- and control-plane functions for completing networking frameworks.
  • Congestion control algorithms for large-BDP networks.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven expertise in congestion control (TCP, QUIC, AQM, ECN).
  • Python and C++/C proficiency.
  • Linux proficiency.
  • Familiarity with DPDK, Docker, and large-BDP network testbeds (e.g., FABRIC).
