HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Lead the architecture and development of advanced pluggable optical modules and mixed-signal solutions.
- Oversee the entire design process from conceptualization and component selection to prototyping and hardware verification.
- Perform detailed circuit design, schematic capture, and optimize PCB layout for performance and manufacturability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FPGA, ASIC, optical, and firmware teams to ensure seamless integration and debugging.
- Execute integration and verification tests to validate compliance with performance requirements.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including design specifications and test plans, to maintain project clarity and continuity.
- Act as a technical mentor, providing guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.
- Drive innovation by assessing emerging technologies and contributing to the strategic technology roadmap.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- MS/BSEE and 10+ years of experience in board-level hardware design with a focus on analog circuitry
- Expertise in PCB schematics and layout, with a strong foundation in analog circuit design
- Strong debugging and lab skills, including test development and verification
- Experience in clock and PLL design, analysis, and characterization
It would be nice if you also had:
- Familiarity with Cadence Concept for PCB design
- Knowledge of optical components such as lasers and VOAs
- Experience with E/O and RF test equipment
- Skills in noise simulation and filtering of analog circuits
