Position: Deepfield Software Engineer Co-op

Duration: 3 Months
Date: September - December 2025
Location: Ann Arbor, MI - remote or hybrid.
Educational Requirements
Currently a candidate for a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field at an accredited school in the US.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews
- Contribute to architecture/design discussions
- Contribute to positive organizational growth
- Triage, debug, and fix defects
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Solid awareness of development in a Linux environment.
- Familiarity with networking concepts.
- For frontend-focused applicants.
- Exposure to scripting languages such as JavaScript
- Experience or coursework using React is a plus.
- For backend/test-focused applicants.
- Experience working with both compiled and scripting languages.
- Python experience preferred.
It would be nice if you also had:
- A team-oriented mindset and eagerness to contribute to a growing team.
- Ability to iterate quickly, learn fast, and take initiative.
