Senior R&D Engineer
As a Senior R&D Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and developing cutting-edge, cloud-native applications using Java, Spring boot. You’ll have the chance to craft customer-focused solutions that make a real impact, leveraging your strong background in containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies, to power high-performance enterprise applications.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Contribute to product design and feature development within an Agile team, taking ownership of assigned software components and design specifications.
- Ensure product quality by writing automated unit and integration tests, troubleshooting issues, and implementing hotfixes or patches as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Support, Customer Projects, and Documentation teams to resolve issues promptly and deliver well-documented features.
- Lead fault analysis, RCA/EDA, and continuous quality improvement initiatives within your area of responsibility.
- Drive performance optimization, issue resolution, and ongoing enhancements to strengthen product reliability and customer experience
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You Have:
- Graduate/ Post Graduate in Engineering or equivalent degree with 6-10 years of expertise as a Java J2EE developer with hands-on experience across the stack — from database to web tier — and solid understanding of web deployment architecture (DB, web servers, clustering, networking).
- Proven experience with Spring Boot, microservices-based architecture, and deep knowledge of libraries/APIs with the ability to explain design choices.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve performance issues, with strong knowledge of the Java memory model and JVM diagnostic tools.
- Proficiency in Linux command-line operations, including basic file manipulation and maintenance tasks; familiarity with bash scripting.
- Experience in CICD based environment with hands on experience with helm
- Working experience of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, with hands-on implementation experience
Good to Have:
- Exposure to databases such as MariaDB, Cassandra, or MongoDB for scalable data management.
- Interest and hands-on exposure to Generative AI (GenAI), with passion for learning and adapting to emerging technologies quickly.
