Pricing Specialist

India (Hybrid)

As a Pricing Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and executing commercial/pricing strategies that maximize sales and profitability. You’ll design pricing mechanism, create business case with target profitability using NPT tool, fill customer templates with help from Sales, secure stakeholder approvals using CRM, L2D tool, support price negotiation rounds, and ensure competitive positioning while aligning with BG guidelines and customer account strategies. With focus on optimization and commercial execution you'll help to drive long-term success.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Develops internal business cases using NPT tool by applying defined commercial and pricing models.
  • Provides pricing support to sales teams for all customer offers, secures approval for offers using CRM, WTD tools.
  • Helps provide/fill Customer Pricing Format/Templates
  • Supports the creation and deployment of value pricing arguments and training materials for developed commercial models.
  • Validates commercial strategy for key customers/cases, including pricing of strategic cases within defined geography.
  • Recommends further development of disruptive pricing models in line with defined commercial strategy.
  • Provides feedback on pricing model feasibility for new products/services

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You Have :

  • A graduate with business knowledge, 10+ years of experience in pricing models, pricing strategies, in-depth understanding of commercial terms, revenue recognition principals, financial modeling.
  • Good expertise of MS excel, Nokia internal approvals process, understanding of RFPs process, understanding of benchmarking and negotiation tactics.
  • Capable to work closely with sales, presales, contracts and finance teams to align pricing strategies, business goals and market demands.
  • Assesses pricing feasibility, analyzes market trends, and provide insights into competitive pricing models for strategic decision-making.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with capability to discuss and clearly explain pricing models, margin suggestion for leadership approval.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Familiarity with advanced excel features, financial forecasting and profitability analysis to maximize lifetime value.
  • Exposure to global pricing strategies and regional pricing variations for diverse markets.
