As a Customer Project Manager, you will deliver projects and programs within agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality to telecommunication operators. You will lead the projects and programs throughout all phases, starting from delivery approach identification to completion, while nurturing a good customer relationship.
As a Customer Project Manager, you will liaise with your main stakeholders, esp. external customers and partners counterparts, and Nokia stakeholders - Business Delivery Managers, Technical Managers, Solutions Architects, Care Program Managers, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Procurement, Logistic, R&D teams.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
The Customer Project Manager is accountable for the success of external customer projects and / or programs for an assigned product and / or service scope:
- Manages project / program throughout all phases, starting from delivery approach identification to completion, including closure and / or handover.
- Leads a project / program team and manages stakeholders and resources. Interacts with customer and partners organizations.
- Is responsible for the overall project / program success with respect to customer satisfaction, financial results, contractual obligations, quality, operational services delivery performance, and health & safety control activities.
- Makes and maintains end to end project / program communication, planning, risk, change and opportunity management.
- Ensures project / program information is maintained up to date, with required quality and according to relevant policies, including data in project-related tools and repositories.
- Participate in sales process, as well explore upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Extensive recent relevant experience (7-10 years) with a proven record of accomplishment, including managing project / programs for mobile telecommunication in domain of core network, in area of 4G and/or 5G and foreign Claud as a Service (fCaaS) model.
- Take accountability for assigned projects / programs and works independently, adapting to process with little guidance.
- Work with external customers, partners, with and through teams.
- Interpersonal communication skills and cross-cultural awareness. Ability to communicate with senior management regarding matters of significant importance.
- Knowledge in managing budget and financial performance and forecasts of a project.
- Distill big picture, anticipate risks and opportunities, make relevant decisions, and prioritize own and teamwork.
- Solid understanding of the impacts of changes on scope, cost, schedule, risk / opportunities. Create and maintain response / mitigation plans which generate desired impact.
- Ability to influence others outside of their own job area on matters related to project / program.
- Ability to work on multiple topics simultaneously.
- Good stress tolerance.
- Fluency in English, spoken and written.
- Certification in Project Management, esp. PMI/PMP.
- European Union citizenship, due travel, and security requirements.
- Availability to travel in Europe, around 20% of the time.
The final JG will be determined based on an assessment of the candidate's skills and experience for the position.
